To ensure safety and quality at every stage, from design through to completed installation, Balkongföreningen certifies both member companies’ products and the way those products are engineered. We also certify the contractors that install balcony slabs, railings and balcony glazing. Certification requires installers and companies to complete an installation authorisation programme.
Certification provides confidence for developers and residents alike. It guarantees that the balcony, the railing and the glazing have been delivered to a high technical standard throughout the chain: from design, via product selection, to correctly executed installation.
To make our work clearer, we have developed a new visual identity, which includes the mark “certified by Balkongföreningen” — a symbol that stands for safe balcony installation.
